WHAT IS FOCO?
Foco is Spanish for “Focus”. As the name implies, this low cost accessory is designed to focus the sound from the rear built in speakers of the iPad to the front using simple principles of physics in a way that allows the sound waves to be reflected and redirected. This results in an enhanced and richer sound experience when listening to music, watching movies, playing games, listening to audiobooks/podcasts or anything that requires sound while using the iPad.
WHY FOCO?
We use our iPads to watch movies and YouTube, listen to music, play games, video chat, for presentations and much more. Unfortunately due to the rear positioning of the iPad speakers the sound is directed away from you instead of towards you, and this can be somewhat frustrating. It isn’t always convenient to carry portable speakers that can drain your iPad battery and using ear phones for extended periods of time gets uncomfortable. Solutions for sound enhancement exist but they are typically bulky, cumbersome, expensive and do not work with cases. Foco compliments the sleek design of the iPad and doesn’t obscure the screen in anyway. Our goal was to create something small, simple, and elegant that also worked with cases.
HOW DO YOU CLEAN FOCO PAD?
Light cleaning would be using a damp lint free cloth (lint covers surface and reduces grip) to wipe the pad. Medium cleaning would be running the pad under water and using your fingers to remove any dirt or debris on the pad. If any oils or greasy materials or liquids have gotten on the Foco pad then you could use mild soap and water to clean the pad. The most important step is to allow Foco to dry completely before using again after any of the cleaning steps above. Thank you again.
WHAT iPADs WORK WITH FOCO?
Foco will work with iPad 2, iPad 3 and the New Ipad with retina display (Ipad 4). Foco will work with cases that mimick the curves of the iPad. It will not perform optimally with cases that are heavily textured or rubber and silicone based.
